See what Year 1/2 are up to.
Year 1/2 have been concentrating on improving their writing skills to reach their Literacy Targets.
Hannah wrote this wonderful piece of work. Can you see how she managed to start each sentence in a different way?
Bears
The little bears are very playful and fun. Their home is very dark and cold. Black bears are powerful because they are big and strong. If you go next to them you will be killed. They love fish a lot.
Well Done Hannah.

Jarod wrote this super descriptive piece of writing about 'The Giant'. Look out for the interesting adjectives and different sentence openings.
The Giant
The giant's feet are so big they fill the road and you can tell if he is around because the ground shakes for miles around. He is so tall, he bangs his head on his own castle! His favourtie poem is 'Fee, Fie, Fo, Fum, I smell the blood of an English man. Be he alive or be he dead, i'll grind his bones to make my bread.' His belt buckle is so rusty that it is nearly dark brown and his black leather boots match his black matted hair. Black big eyes can be seen under his bushy eyebrows and his head is as big as a dustbin with a brown moustache which is very wirey. His favourite food is juicy boys to crunch and suck.
Well Done Jarod
